Today, Japan is facing a very difficult time, both internally and externally. Disasters, nuclear power plants, Okinawa, inequality, agriculture, finances, diplomacy with China, South Korea, and North Korea.... Under these circumstances, the question arose as to whether democracy or totalitarianism is better in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. I am convinced that we must continue to maintain the democracy that we have nurtured through our long human history, but I often wonder if Japan, which is said to be a democratic country, is a democratic country at all. So, although it is truly a shame for a non-academic and uneducated person like me to write about such a difficult issue as democracy, I have created my theory in search of a new democracy and summarized what I have confirmed through its practice.

Hirohisa Uwaya

Born on September 3, 1944, in Katsunuma-Town, Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, currently resides in Nagareyama City, Chiba Prefecture.
Graduated from Waseda University Faculty of Law.
Worked at Hitachi, Ltd.
Certified as a care worker at Edogawa University College of Social Welfare
In January 2001, he established the C&C Club, a non-profit organization for lifelong learning about nursing care and nursing care prevention, and became its president.
