春は吉野に桜が乱れ華やぎ、夏は渓流の水音が涼やかに響き、秋はすすき野が黄金の海となって風になびき、冬は白い山肌に冬木立が輝く──生まれ育った奈良の風景を４０年にわたり撮影してきた著者が、四季の移ろいと共に豊かな表情をみせる自然の情景を写し撮った写真集。

Yoshino in spring becomes brilliant with cherry blossoms in profusion, in summer provides cooling sounds in valley streams, in autumn creates like a sea of gold on eulalia fields waving in the wind, and in winter offers shining grove of white trees on the whitened surface of the mountains – a photobook, depicting the nature scenes to show rich expression in different four season, is prepared by an author who was born and grew up in Nara and has been taking local landscape photograph for more than 40 years.

京都とくらべても日本の原風景が感じられる奈良には、どこかかつて自然と共に暮らした人々の息吹が残っているような気がします。
そんな悠久の時を感じながら、奈良の情景を楽しんでいただければ嬉しく思います。

Comparing to Kyoto, Japanese original landscape is available more in Nara, where I feel as if there would be a sign of ancient people once lived with nature somewhere around.
I would be happy if you could feel a sense of eternity while enjoying nature scenes in Nara.
