Norihito Yoshioka
Born on May 31, 1978, in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture. As his father was an obstetrician and gynecologist, he grew up watching him practice at clinics from an early age, and decided to become a doctor himself.
In 2005, he officially entered the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Marianna University of Medicine, where he engaged in clinical practice and research as a graduate student. He received a medical doctorate with the theme of “Clarifying the role of POU6F1 in ovarian clear cell adenocarcinoma.”
He later studied at the University of British Columbia in Canada, where he studied gynecological tumors (including malignant and benign diseases) and cancer in adolescents and young women (AYA generation cancer).
After graduation, he entered the university’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he began general practice and experienced various cases. He succeeded the Ladies Clinic in 2019. Most recently, he participated in swimming events at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games as a first-aid doctor, and also participated in swimming events at the Paralympic Games as a volunteer doctor.
