The long summer vacation leaves a lasting impression on children's lives, allowing them to experience things they normally wouldn't, notice things they normally wouldn't notice, and start new things. In the midst of their adventure into the mysteries of the universe, the two in this book also turn their attention to environmental and other problems facing the Earth.
